ABOUT THE EVENT

This family-friendly fiesta event is your way to kick off the summer season! Margaritas En Mayo, held in conjunction with the Bilingual Parents Advisory Council, incorporates family activities, traditional Mexican music and more! Every May, Downtown Yorkville transforms into Yorkville's very own Margaritaville for an evening of Mariachi bands, dancing, margaritas and more as we welcome the arrival of Summer!

The United City of Yorkville would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who took part in the 2025 Margaritas En Mayo! This year's festival was a huge success that included delicious food and drink from local stops, a 50ft inflatable zip line, colorful piñatas, sack races, gallitos (balloon pop game), performances from the Bilingual Parents Advisory Council, Ballet Folklorico, Mariachi Ameca, and Fuze!
